The manifesto

Things we
don't do.

A short list of things most software shops do that we refuse to. If any of these matter to you, we might be a fit.

Holding the phone, ready for your call
01
We don't use account managers.

We answer
the phone.

You talk directly to the engineers working on your project. No intermediaries, no status reports summarising things already in Slack.

Principle 01
We're with you, start to finish
02
We don't hand off at every stage.

Same team,
start to finish.

The designer who sketches your first screen is the one polishing it a month later. No awkward handoffs, no "that's not my part".

Principle 02
Steady, still here
03
We don't disappear after launch.

We
stay.

Post-launch maintenance, small features, scaling, bug fixes — we keep working with you long after the invoice for the build is paid.

Principle 03
Craftsman with his mug
04
We don't chase framework-of-the-week.

Boring tech,
built to last.

We reach for technologies we know how to operate at 3 AM. Your product isn't a playground for half-finished JavaScript experiments.

Principle 04
Sound like your kind of studio?
Let's talk
The journey

From first email,
to live product.

What an engagement actually looks like, from the first hello to the moment we're still fixing things for you a year later. No surprises.

1
Day 1

You email us

A few lines about what you're building and when you need it. No forms, no intake questionnaires.

2
Day 3

We hop on a call

Thirty minutes with a senior engineer. We ask questions, you ask questions, nobody pitches anything.

3
Week 1

We scope the work

A short written proposal with a clear scope, timeline, and price. You'll read it in under ten minutes.

4
Weeks 2–7

We build it

Daily demos on a staging URL, weekly check-ins, same two or three engineers from start to finish.

5
Week 8+

We ship, then stay

Production deploy, handover docs, and the same team on-call for bug fixes and small features — indefinitely.

No surprises, ever

Off the clock

Giving back,
quietly.

A few times a year, the team spends a day or two on community work — food drives at local schools, support for charity kitchens, and causes we find meaningful. We don't make a big deal of it; we just show up.

Our working rhythm

Six rituals that
keep us honest.

Not a "methodology." Just a short list of habits we picked up the hard way and refuse to give up. They work.

01
Every morning

Daily write-ups.

A three-line text update instead of a 15-minute standup that turns into 25. Everyone reads, nobody drifts. We killed the meeting years ago.

02
Every Friday

Demo Fridays.

Every Friday we demo what shipped that week on a staging URL. You watch, ask questions, push back — no slideshows, no theater.

03
Every change

Two approvals per PR.

Nothing hits main without another engineer reading it. We've caught more bugs in review than our test suite has — and the tests are good.

04
Every feature

Docs before code.

For anything non-trivial we write a short design doc before we write code. You get to review it before we invest forty hours building the wrong thing.

05
Always on

Your channel in Slack.

A private channel in our workspace with your name on it. Question at 2pm? Typical reply same day, usually much faster. No ticket portals.

06
Biweekly

Retros every two weeks.

A 30-minute conversation about what went well, what didn't, and what we'd do differently. Nothing is off-limits; everything gets written down.

The bottom line

Good rituals beat good intentions. Every time.

Work with us
The humans

Meet the five
behind the work.

No account managers, no project managers, no middle layer. Whoever you talk to is also writing the code — pick one to meet.

Answer

Send an email with a few lines about what you need. We'll reply within a business day and suggest a 30-minute call if it looks like a fit. The call is free, there's no pitch, and we say no to projects we can't do well.

Answer

A staging URL in week one for most projects. The first real demo usually happens at the end of week two. From there it's weekly demos until launch — you always know what's built and what's next.

Answer

No. Every project includes ongoing post-launch time built into the engagement. The same people who built it maintain it, fix it, and keep shipping small improvements for as long as you need us — often for years.

Answer

The engineers writing your code. No account managers, no project managers, no "I'll pass that to the team." Your channel in our Slack has two or three real humans who know your codebase by heart.

Answer

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Astro on the frontend. Node, Laravel, and Python on the backend. PostgreSQL for data, Docker for deploys, AWS or our own Wexron Hosting for infra. We pick boring, well-understood tools we know how to operate at 3 AM.

Answer

Yes. A lot of engagements start as a few hours of architecture review or a code audit before turning into something bigger. You get a written report, we get a feel for each other, and nobody signs a long-term contract until we're both sure.

Answer

It usually does. For fixed-scope projects we write down what's in and what's out before we start, and anything new goes into a short written note with a rough estimate. No sneaky change orders, no "oh that's extra." If we missed something in the original scope, that's on us.

Answer

Often. We translate between business outcomes and technical decisions, and we're happy to make calls you don't know how to make — then explain the trade-offs in plain English afterward.
