Where to
next?
We're not hiring
— but don't close the tab yet.
Every seat in our studio is taken at the moment. We grow in sudden bursts, and the people we hire first are almost always the ones we've already met. Tell us about yourself — we'll keep your details on file for when a door opens.
Why people stay,
when they join
No bean bags. No ping-pong. Just the things that actually make work better.
Remote-friendly
We're a Calicut studio, but async-first. Work from wherever your focus lives.
Flexible hours
No clock-watching. Get your work done; take the afternoon off if that's when the surf's up.
Learning budget
Books, courses, conference tickets — if it sharpens your craft, we'll fund it.
Real ownership
No babysitting. You own features end-to-end, from idea to ship to on-call.
Fewer meetings
We protect deep work time. If it can be a doc, it won't be a meeting.
Merch & coffee
Hoodies, stickers, and unlimited good coffee at the Hilite office. The basics, done right.
The roles
we hire for
Here's the shape of our team. If one matches your wheelhouse, we'd love to keep your details on file.
Full-Stack Engineer
FilledEnd-to-end product work across AutoCom and internal tools. Shipping real code in the first week.
Product Designer
FilledOwn the end-to-end design of AutoCom — from discovery through production UI and everything in between.
DevOps / SRE
FilledKeep Wexron Hosting running. Zero-downtime deploys, observability, and the occasional 3 AM page — on rotation, fairly shared.
AI / ML Engineer
Not availableBuild practical AI features for AutoCom. Research-minded, but ship-focused.
Customer Engineer
Not availableTalk to customers, write docs, ship integration fixes, and be the bridge between users and the product team.
Technical Writer
Not availableWrite the docs, guides, and API references that developers actually enjoy reading. Part-time is fine.
How we
would hire you
Four steps. No whiteboard puzzles, no unpaid take-homes, no ghosting.
Send us a note
No lengthy forms. Email us with your CV or portfolio and a few lines about what you're looking for.
Short conversation
A 30-minute chat with the team lead. Informal, two-way — we're checking for fit as much as you are.
Real-world task
A small paid take-home that mirrors actual work. No trick questions, no whiteboarding trivia.
Team day
Spend a day with us — pair on code, review the task, meet the team. Decide together.
What we
actually look for
Skills matter. Shape matters more.
Built something you're proud of — a project, a tool, a product. Size doesn't matter; taste does.
Writes clearly. Most of our work happens in docs, PRs, and async threads.
Debugs systematically — reads the error, checks the assumption, fixes the root cause.
Candid and kind. Says the hard thing early, respects the person saying it back.
Focuses on outcomes, not theatre. Doesn't count tickets or hours in standup.
Still learning. The ones who stopped are the ones who slow down.
